Mumbai 74 Hakka and Indian Cuisine: Reviews & Ratings
Best Mumbai-Style Hakka food. I tried their Hakka Noodles, Chicken Lollipop, and Paneer Manchurian, and honestly this place gave me exact Mumbai-style Hakka Chinese taste. The flavours were exactly like the street-style food we grew up eating. The Hakka Noodles were really good- not too oily, not too saucy, and had that real wok flavour. The vegetables used were fresh and the spice level was just right. The best part is that the noodles were not drowned in soy sauce like many other places in GTA. If you miss proper Mumbai Hakka noodles, this is the place to try. Highly recommend!. The Chicken Lollipop was crispy, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. The outside had the bright red Mumbai-style coating and the inside was soft and fresh. It tasted exactly like the lollipops we used to get at Chinese stalls in Mumbai. The Paneer Manchurian was amazing too. The paneer pieces were soft, the gravy was flavourful, and the Manchurian balls were crisp outside and soft inside, exactly like authentic Mumbai-style texture. The taste was spicy, garlicky and full of flavour. Overall, this is one of the most authentic Mumbai-style Hakka spot I have found in GTA. The food feels fresh, the flavours are balanced and the portions are good. I rarely leave reviews but the flavours here reminded me of Mumbai, so sharing the experience.
Absolutely loved this place! We ordered the paneer 65, Hakka noodles, Manchurian, and momos for takeout and everything was fantastic. The paneer 65 was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of spice and tang - you could tell it was freshly made. The Hakka noodles had that authentic wok flavor with great texture, not too oily, and loaded with vegetables. The Manchurian was spot-on with a delicious sauce that balanced sweet, spicy, and savory notes beautifully. The momos were a real highlight - juicy filling, perfectly steamed with thin wrappers that didn’t fall apart. They came with an excellent spicy chutney that complemented them perfectly. Portions were generous and the food traveled well for takeout, arriving hot and fresh. The flavors were bold and authentic, reminding me of the best Indo-Chinese spots. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. If you’re craving solid Hakka Chinese in Toronto, this place definitely delivers. Already planning my next order!
Absolutely delicious food and great experience! We recently ordered from this Mumbai 74 Hakka and Indian Cuisine, everything was outstanding from start to finish. The Hot and Sour Soup had the perfect balance of spice and tang, and the Corn Soup was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Both were a great start to the meal! The Hakka Noodles and Fried Rice were perfectly cooked — full of fresh veggies, great wok flavor, and generous portions. And the highlight for us was definitely the Chicken 65 — crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of heat. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and authentic. Overall, a fantastic experience — we’ll definitely be coming back soon!
If you’re craving that true Mumbai-style Indian Chinese flavor — bold, spicy, saucy, and absolutely addictive — this place nails it. The Manchurian is perfectly crispy on the outside, soft inside, and soaked in just the right amount of tangy, garlicky gravy. The noodles are wok-tossed to perfection, full of smoky flavor and loaded with veggies and that unmistakable street-style punch Definitely a go-to spot if you love desi Chinese with attitude and soul. Highly recommended!
Amazing customer service by the person I talked to he was so kind and attentive. I ordered Burnt garlic rice with side of gravy. Best schzwan chutney as well same like mumbai flavour. I am hooked to this place now! If you love authentic indo Chinese go for it!
If you’re searching for authentic Mumbai-style Indo-Chinese in Toronto, this place needs to be at the top of your list. The Szechwan chutney here is unbelievable—spicy, aromatic, and exactly like we get in Mumbai Triple Szechwan Fried Rice (with Soup) – 5/5 The rice is perfectly cooked with separate grains, generous chicken pieces, and a different Szechwan flavour as well—not salty, not soy-heavy, and definitely not only spicy like many places don’t have any taste ; this place actually got some tastel. This is the closest Triple Szechwan I’ve had in Toronto that actually resembles Mumbai Chinese. Soup: 4.5/5 The soup served with it is light and fresh, not thick or pasty. It complements the rice instead of overpowering it. But can improve more. Manchow Soup – 5/5 This is real Mumbai-style Manchow Soup. Spicy, flavorful, and topped with crisp noodles, exactly how it’s served in Mumbai. Every spoonful has the perfect balance of heat, garlic, and crunch. Chicken Lollipops – 5/5 Finding proper Chicken Lollipops in Toronto is rare, but these taste just like the ones from classic Mumbai Indo-Chinese restaurants. Crispy exterior, juicy inside, and coated with authentic Szechwan with it. Overall: Great portions, Good sizes of chicken and true Mumbai Hakka flavours make this place stand out. From the Manchow to the lollipops to the Triple Szechwan rice, every dish tasted like home. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Mumbai-style Indo-Chinese in Toronto.
